replacement for ds trainers?

I'm a fan of Brooks Racer ST...

Go 902's. They are the closest to the trainer 11's.

I have alternated between the DS Trainer 11 and now the 12's and the Mizuno Elixirs. I have always really liked the Elixir.

Racer ST 3 a great shoe. Midsole/outsole unchanged, but the upper now fits like a glove. Much smoother too if you cut out the midfoot truss.

I currently switch off between the 902's and Elixers, and I am so happy.

I have trained in the Kayanos all my life, and was tired.

When I first got the 902's, I had narrowed it to that and the DS trainer while in the store.

When I got the Elixers, I had narrowed it down to Elixers and Brooks Axiom.

I don't know much about shoes, so I just go by feel.

I was looking for a light-weight comfortable shoe, with emphasis on flexibility.

Anyone have experience (good or bad) with the shoes I didn't buy?

The 902 has a lot less support, and a lot faster.

I feel very safe and secure in my Elixers, but still provides the needed flexibility and breathable shoe.

adidas adizero Tempo. It releases on July 1. Very nice shoe indeed.

I've been looking mainly at the NB 902, Mizuno wave elixir 2, suacony grid tangent 3 and puma complete concinnity. I am also curious about more substantial flats including adizero LT, brooks racer st3 and nike katana racer or marathoner among others.

Obviously I would try shoes before buying, but wondering if anyone has advice on any of those listed above or a recommendation for another lightweight trainer/flat that comes closest to the old ds 11?

i bought my ds trainer 12's a half size up. when i first wore them i noticed a different feel than the 11's but i have grown to like them very much.

how about if i want a shoe that runs like the old ds 11 ran (decent support, fairly flexible), but is a bit lighter. not a full blown racing flat, more something in the 7-9oz range. any suggestions?

i love the Saucany Grid Tangents. In the DS trainers i can feel that medial post too much... but with these, they are great. I went a half size down from the Asics. in men's sizes they are 9.6 oz.
