I've had piriformis syndrome twice in the past and just kind of ran through it and it went away eventually, but it was pretty bad for a while. I never had the pain shooting down my leg or anything, just the pain up at the top of my butt. I ran with it the last 2 weeks of track and have since taken a week off. I'm REALLY anxious to start training again, but I am scared I'll aggravate my piriformis. Have other people been able to just run through it? If I just jog 3 miles or so will that make it worse?
