I am a single guy and a long time runner. I am an even 6' tall and at the end on January weighed 150 pounds. I finished some indoor meets this winter then took four weeks off and lifted 4 times a week, ate tons of food, drank protein drinks, took Creatine and other supplements.
I started to run about 20-30 miles easy a week after the 4 week break but at the end of 12 weeks I weighed 175 pounds. I even measured my biceps and chest and that is where I gained most of my weight. I gained almost 2" inches in my biceps. I also did tons of ab work so I look ripped.
I hate to say it, but the vast majority of woman in this country at any age say I look way better at my new weight. Sorry guys but it is reality that women do NOT DIG SKINNY RUNNER GUYS!!!
Seriously, I have more dates with different women to the point it is annoying and I look forward to nights I can just stay home and relax by myself.
I think most woman are very shallow this way. I also think most American women are too heavy and feel bad about themselves being with a skinny guy.
Even slim ladies like big guys. One lady I am dating is 5'2" about 115 pounds said she feels much safer with bigger guys, whatever the hell that means. She is crazy for me and likes the bigger more macho take charge type of guy.
Sorry if you are a skinny runner guy but this is reality. The vast majority of women feel this way. Debate and flame all you want but you are in denial if you don't believe this.
