I really like Rebecca Noble and have really been impressed with that great kick of hers. Alysa Johnson, however, has blasted her self on the scene consistently running the 800 in under 2:02 indoor and outdoor season.
I think it was a smart move for Rebecca not to race Johnson at the Pac 10 championships...save the excitement for nationals.
Whom would be the third fastest 800 runner?
Katie Erdman from Michigan will be in the mix if she runs it...2:02 early in the season.
I would not bet against Rebecca Nobles she seems to peak perfectly and that blistering kick is unbelieveable.
Felnagle has PRd at several distances this spring including the 800, going sub 2:05. Don't know if she will even go for the 800, but it would make an interesting rematch from the Washington state high school state meet of '05 when Noble surprised her in the finals.
