I know that some of you guys think that endurox is a waste of money however I acquired some today. It says that I am suppose to mix two "scoops" with 12 oz of water. I dont think the thing came with a "scooper". So how much is a scoop?? How do you guys use it?
The scooper is there, maybe at the bottom, but its there

What makes accelerate better? And what does it cause for you to say that it works? I have yet to see a miracle potion that will allow for huge time drops even when the person has had solid times. Especially for me, I am a college runner and have for some reason hit a wall at the 28 min. mark for 8k.

When people take Endurox or Accelerate, They're most likely not expecting it to make them like Hall, but they think it might help them recover a little better or feel a little better, so relax.
The point of theses types of drinks is not to make you faster, but to help you recover faster. This allows you to work hard again, sooner.
I have used Endurox, and had success with it. About a year ago, I switched to Powrbar Recovery, and feel that it works even better for me. It is also cheaper, and has less calories per serving.
How does the Powerbar recovery taste and how much does it cost? I've been reading parts of Chris Carmichael's book (the originator of the drink and Lance Armstrong's former coach) and he says he's found that the 7:1 ratio of carbs to protein is ideal as compared to Endurox's 4:1.
To answer the OP, I take Endurox after workouts, long runs and usually the day before a race and feel it helps me pretty well, although it could be a placebo effect, I'll continue using it as long as I continue to race and workout well.
I think that it has a lighter & crisper taste than Endurox, which I always found to be a bit thick. It's kind of a cross between Gatorade & Endurox if that makes sense?
I just got a jug too, and I have yet to find the scooper.
On the off chance that you cannot find the scooper--and I agree with one of the posters, it's likely at the bottom--I measured mine for you. One scoop is 1/4 cup, or just over 3 tablespoons (like 3.2 or so).

1/4 cup = 4 tablespoons
I measured twice, once with the measuring cup and one with tablespoons. My 1/4 cup was exact. I probably made the tablespoons heaping rather than flat, thus making that measurement less than 4 to fill the scoop. Guess I should've asked someone who took Home Economics.........
I just found the scoop. It was at the bottom. I felt like I was excavating a dinosaur skeleton or something.
I agree with 4 normal spoon scoops to be roughly equal to 2 scooper scoops. I had been using only 2 spoon scoops, and it is WAY different with the recommended volume.
