most common questions asked by non runners?

"Why are you so much sexier than the rest of us?"

"you're going to ruin your knees."

That drives me nuts. Football and basketball players are so much more susceptible to knee injuries. Soft tissue injuries on the other hand.....

Or, if it's cold/raining and someone is huddled near the ashtray in the outside smoking area . . . You went jogging today? You're a nut to jog in the rain!

i like it when people ask this question, because if its in regards to a race, i take it as implying that they just day dream during a race or are thinking about things that have nothing to do with the race, like how they look or who's watching them or what's going to happen on the oc tonight. i'm kind of dumbfounded when people have asked me this in the past, because my answer is always 'the race'.
