What Brooks shoe is most similar to the Glycerin? Is it the Radius, the Axiom, something else, or is there no comparison? I like Brooks and I really like the Glycerin, but at $110 a pop, I'm wondering if the Axiom or Radius would be almost as good for $20-$30 less. I also like to switch models from time to time just so I'm not always running in the same shoe. I am hoping to stay within the Brooks brand just because I like the fit and feel of their shoes.
axiom has a post so is a mild stability shoe.
Radius is a straighter shoe with less cushion then the glycerine. They had the ephiphany but it was a bust and was more than the glycerine.
Companies dont really make 2 of the same shoe. similar categorys but differnt construction and fits.
The Glycerin4 is around $70 closeout at Holabird and the new Glycerin5 is $88.
the radius would be the shoe most similar, it is a similar design, with less cushioning. they are both neutral shoes which is what is important.
radius. lighter. straighter last. the new glycerin is good.

Any neutral runners out there that run in the Axiom and do ok? I think I've heard it said before that the Axiom has some posting but it's not much and therefore is ok for neutral runners. Just wondering if that's the case or not.
I run in the axiom a few days a week and love it. I probably need a little more support than you do, but to me it has a relatively light and minimalist feel--compared to, say, the Adrenaline or the Asics 2110, which I also run in a lot. I even like it for some of my faster-paced running. The support doesn't feel overbearing at all.
I know that since I wore Brooks Beast the chicks really dig me.
I run in the Axiom 2 and am neutral and am loving the ride. Have no issues with the post whatsoever.. I don't even feel it or know it's there. Might be worth a shot.
