Basically I have been stuck at the same old time of 19:44 for 5k for about 3 years now... I just cant seem to bring it down. My other PRs are as follows:
400m-64.8
800m-2:27
1600m-5:14
3200m-11:42
(5000m-19:44)
10,000m-39:42
I know all these times are crap and all, but I am trying to get them down. I am thinking of running about 60 mpw this summer (I will be a junior) in hopes of making varsity. I also realize that with a 10k PR in relation to the 5k like I mentioned, I appear to be a troll. But I am not, and I want your honest responses. If you are just going to insult me because you are much faster, please don't write anything. A side note: The 10k PR came in my first 60 mile week of just steady running. No speed work at all.
