buuuuuummmmmmppppppp!!!!!!
anyone...anyone....bueler.....anyone....
The 902s are vastly superior to the 901s. Lighter, better ride, softer feel, looks nicer.....Concensus at NB is that the 900 was excellent, 901 not so much, 902 is very good. Although the 900 was not very similar to the 902 -- 900 had a much firmer ride.
They have a medial post, but it's not very substantial. Great lightweight trainer, but not much stability.
Have a pair of 901's and loved them - they were responsive and almost felt like a racer without the feeling of no-support. 8/10
Have had my 902's now for 6 weeks and don't want to run in my 901's anymore. The 902's are still a performance ride, but they are a softer ride and the feel a little more supportive. I love these and have two more pairs on the way to get ready for Summer training. 9/10

902s, as noted above, are a little more cushioned in the fore than the 901s. And they are gaudy, but what a ride. I'm one of the few that liked the 901s better than the 900s. I like the 902s even more. I understand that the 902s are selling like hotcakes. NB got something right with this shoe.
They are too cushioned for me. I liked the 900 the best, the 901's were a little uncomfortable but did the job. I probably won't get another pair.
Are the 902s comparable to the Asics DS Trainer XI as a light weight trainer. I am still looking for replacement for the XI as the XII are very different from the XI.

Haha, actually I'm glad they corrected me! I know damn well how to spell "concensus" and usually try to hold myself to a writer's standards of spelling and grammar, even when posting on letsrun. Guess I posted that in a hurry.
The spelling/grammar Nazis may seem annoying at times, but they're really doing us a service. The next great childhood epidemic, after obesity (caused by laziness and video games) is going to be childhood illiteracy (caused by laziness and instant messaging).
But anyway, yeah, the 902s are sweet and are selling like hotcakes. Which probably means the 903 will be a complete design overhaul, again.

I hope you were joking about the "writer's standards" part. You provided examples of no less than 5 errors in that post alone.
"You provided examples of no less than 5 errors in that post alone."
FYI:
Journalistic style is to spell out numbers below 10. One, two ... nine, 10, 11, 12, etc.
More form than style.

Actually no, I didn't. And in addition to the number five being spelled out as someone else noted, it's "fewer" rather than "less" in that sentence you managed to mangle.
My post was not written in the journalistic form, therefore it is unnecessary to follow such stylistic rules. Your comments reguarding "fewer rather than "less" address style rather than accepted grammar.
The point is, very few of us actually take the time to proofread anything we write on here.
Actually, yes you did. Shall we point them out for you?
