I know there are threads on this but, I couldn't find it in a search. Question: I am aware that barefoot running helps develop undeveloped muscle in your feet but does running in flats also help, more than regular training shoes? Or is the cushioning (although minimal) absorbing the shock too much for the feet to respond by adaptation?
I have been running in flats recently b/c in my regular training shoes (asics Verdict) I have many probelms. Hamstring calf probelms, when I run in flats I have no probelms. Although I am worried about impact related injuries, but I am still giving it a try.
Thanks
