How much time do you usually take off after outdoor track before you start your CC training?
Generally there's a two week period of down time. This down time could be no running at all or just some really short and relaxed runs. Essentially a period with zero structure, just doing whatever the hell you want to rest up and get ready to go again.
normally go on holiday to relax mind and body for 2 weeks and try to forget failures/poor results of previous season and the demands of forthcoming cc season. No running allowed till I return home- then the hard work kicks in for another year- a normal athletes life eh?
