Is there a list of top times for freshman in the 3200m? What is the national record?

National Record is in the 9:04 range by Eric Hulst I believe.
Wow! The reason I ask is because some kid from Texas just won his 3200m race at regionals in 9:14....from Woodlands I believe. Not 100% that he is a freshman, but I'm trying to find out. Reed Connor is the kids name.
Hulst's 9:04.4 is for two miles, so roughly 9:01 for 3200.

I heard Woodlands has 14 freshman who can run under 9:20. They only get to run 2 at regions though, so the others have to run at time trials. Reed should be in the 8th grade, but he started school early. Pretty amazing.
I ran 9:24 for two miles in 9th grade - and was very much aware of Hulst's record. Of course, at about 5 foot three and 105 pounds in 9th grade, I wasn't about to scare Hulst's record - it felt like I was sprinting the entire way.

I would be interested in your year-to-year progression after that and where you got a college scholarship.
yeah, I and I ran 8:31 for the 3200 in 5th grade.
I can beat that on a skateboard
i'd say my speed is somewhere between a mongoose and a cheetah
i faster than 80% of snakes.
