It's amazing because within the next 2-6 years we have athletes who could potentially reset a lot of the records on the track and on the road:
Tyson Gay: 100m(9.87)/200m(19.68) - he's 24
Xavier Carter: 200m(19.63)/400m? - he's only 21
Jeremy Wariner: 400m(43.62) and he's only 23
Bernard Lagat: 1500m/mile/2000m/3000m/5000m (got the 3000m ind)
Alan Webb: 1500m/mile/2000m/3000m?/5000m? (he got the 2 mile)
Matt Tegenkamp: 3000m/5000m
Ryan Hall: 10,000m/HM(got it)/Marathon??? (maybe not for 3-6 years)
Dan Lincoln: 3000mSC(got it)/3000m?/3000m ind?
Anthony Famiglietti: 3000mSC/3000m?/5000m?
Who knows if McDougal and Rupp will show us anything special later on also
