Any of you know the rules regarding high school students competing in college meets against college athletes? Are there retrictions against this sort of thing?

I don't know but when I was in college I knew of a school/College which use to have HS athletes race for their college team.Guess the University and Coach?
I did it a handful of times while in highschool.
There has been recent NCAA legislative action regarding this issue and it's currently in a bit of a state of flux. As of December/January a ruling was made that basically eliminated the ability for high school students to compete in college competitions. I'm speaking generally because it wasn't targeted towards XC/Track, it addressed all "individual" sports (XC, Track, Swimming, Skiing, etc). Recently a Swimming & Diving coaches association has lobbied to reverse the NCAA's position and from the latest I read, maybe a couple weeks ago, the issue has been brought back to the table for further debate.
The basics of the rule as I understood it prior to the most recent developments was that in individual sports it was acceptable for high school students to compete in a college meet if there was no team scoring that grouped college and high school teams together, and that high school students did not compete directly against college students.
