with how much rest?
sorry, two minutes jogging rest
17:20-17:45 just a rough guess. As a sophomore in hs I ran a similar workout like that with split times like those.
Those are some slow times for an animal with four legs.

Not to mention how big he is, and the fact that red things go faster (ie Kenyans and their red singlets).
I would think a lot faster than 17:00, but 800s aren't really the best prediction for a 5k time.
Just a guess, 15:45-16:00
Clifford was just sandbagging that workout. After all, the animators can make him run as fast as they want him to run.
I still think Big Bird takes him, but he'll beat Barney paws down.
Arthur, his complete lack of athletic talent notwithstanding, has so many friends helping him train and rooting for him that he won't finish worse than 4th.
The Teletubbies, despite training in hills, tend to jump up and down like a bunch of Kansas City ... Teletubbies (for lack of a better word), resulting in poor economy, so they won't be factors.
The Brain has a clever plan to use victory in the race as a springboard to global domination, but I predict he will need to rely on Pinky to perform one simple task and Pinky will forget how to do it, resulting in a DNF for the snake-bitten mouse mastermind.
This will make SpongeBob SquarePants the last official finisher, just behind Daniel Striped Tiger, who will be too scared of being trampled and won't run with the pack.
Of course, if the Powerpuff Girls compete, it's all over.
I think just like the commentators in the "Man v. Beast" competition on Fox said was one of the keys to the Zebra's race against Shawn Crawford, it is absolutely imperative that Clifford "realizes he is in a race."
when are they going to bring back "man versus beast"? that show was awesome

Man vs Beast! Classic Really.
