I'm a soph in high school right now, my mile PR is 4:40 from last indoor season, and I'm wondering what a reasonable goal for the mile/1600 would be between now and my senior year. My PR from last season was run on pretty marginal training, at the beginning of indoors, and I'm certainly working harder right now, probably 50+ miles per week on average this season. A recent track workout I ran was 12x400 at 70 seconds, with 45 seconds rest. Could anyone give me a rough idea of how much I might improve on my current PR, based on their experience? Thanks.
