    I'm going to London with my brother to watch him run the London Marathon on April 22nd. This will be his second marathon as he prepares to run the Olympic Trials Marathon in Nov. 2007. He ran the Mt. Sac 10K today and finished 4th in 28:25 in a controlled effort.

    I'm excited to see what he can run in 10 days for the marathon distance on a course like London against great pacing and great competition.

    Then I thought it would be fun to see if anyone would be interested in picking my brother's time. To make it more interesting, I'll offer a cash prize to whoever can guess his time for the marathon without going over (Like the Price is Right). Why would I do this? Because I think it will be fun and worth the 50 bucks. You will get paid. I've only recently started visiting this site, but I think if someone did not get paid...they would raise a f***in riot. Winner will email me address and will get paid. Anyone, but me is eligible. Guesses taken until the start of the Marathon on 4/22. Reply to this thread with your best guess. Good luck...

    Some basic guidelines. Each person is allowed just one guess. You must link your email address with your reply in order to be eligible. All posters without email showing will be not be eligible. If a time is already guessed, don't reguess that time. First time that was guessed will be only eligible time. Guesses only on this thread are eligible. I will update gueses on this thread once every 3-4 days until the marathon.

    I think you should just do closest, period. Otherwise there is incentive for people to sit around until the 22nd until they finally decide to venture a guess, undercutting other people. Or maybe that's part of the fun.

    I think the rules are set and since people have started guessing, there are no changes. I don't think that you can undercut somebody unless you have a good idea what he is going to run. No times are going to be taken after midnight EST on 4/22.

    I will try to update the site atleast once every couple of days, but it could get crazy...
