Have any of you former 900 users tried the new 902s, if so what are your thoughts?

I ran int he 900s and have checked out the 902. The 902 is much softer and squishier. It is very comfortable and has a roomy toebox. I wouldn't call it especially low profile. It is a lighter weight, neutral to semi-stable cushiony shoe. I would compare it more to a shoe like the Asics Speedstar or Nike Skylon, whereas the 900 had a noticeably lower profile.
Thanks stipe. I've since migrated over to the Mizuno Elixir. It doesn't seem as low as it's a 23/11, but it has some mild support , it's lightweight and not too bulky. Any other ideas for current shoes similar to the old 900? Thanks again.
I was a big 900 fan, wore over a dozen pairs. Despised 901's. I know it's classifed as a racing flat, but the closest to the 900 is the Brooks Racer ST 3. It has many properties similar to the 900 and feels amazing. I rotate it with the Axiom 2 (Elixir was too bulky and stiff for me, like the 901).

Excellent summary, that's exactly the way I would describe the 902. I really miss the 900's
I've been running in Asics DS Racers and Hyper Speeds. I think either of these are quite close to the NB 900s. I've never had durability issues while training daily in these racing shoes. Also, Mizuno will have a new Precision that will be lighter and lower than the current version. That should be out around July. I've checked out Saucony Fastwitch and Brooks Racer ST and found them both to be rather thick in the heel.
You might also try to track down some of the new adidas lightweight trainer/racers. They have several that are relatively low and light.
Thanks all for your input.

Thank you for mentioning other shoes.
I was just going to start another thread on which shoes are similar to the 902's.
I recently bought the 902's and I fell in love with them.
They're flexible, light, durable, and they fit well.
I owned a pair of the 900's and liked them. I missed out on the 901's, and now I can't find my size anywhere online.
I just recently made the transition from super bulky (Kayano) to this "minimalist" shoe.
Anyone else out there have any suggestions on shoes similar to the 902?
Thanks
