Or do you wear socks when it gets really cold?
Or do you wear socks when it gets really cold?
I can't remember the last time I RACED in socks, but I always train in socks, regardless of temperature. Keeps the trainers from getting all smelly-like, and it keeps my feet all blister-free.
And that's a seriously nice screen name.
thank you
It used to be that trainers and flats were easily broken in, but, too, then (during the Blue Ribbon Sports era) they rarely cost over $15. The use of socks was totally optional and a lot of just went without them.
God, do I miss those shoes.
I haven't run in socks in probably about 6 or 7 years. I love it.
I was a sock-less type at one time, then I noticed that I got more babes when I started wearing socks, all while noticing how people stopped vomiting in my presence.
The shoes don't smell bad if you take them off shortly after the run. It's walking around in them for an hour afterwards that really lets them soak up the sweat.
I take mine off right after running and they don't really smell that bad....I mean, you'd hav eto have your face pretty damn close to really take it in.
