This is so embarrassing. They're showing the L.A. Bike tour right now. It's a 26-mile bike ride before the marathon starts. About half the people are on mountain bikes!! I just saw some dude on a motorcross bike.
They also just announced that they'll have portable defibulators along the marathon course since 2 people died at LAM last year.
I'm watching, but luckily I live along the course, and I'll be able to go outside in a little while and watch there.
I just saw the 311 singer talking to Fritz about raising money for global warming. Do you think they'll do features on any real runners?
They just showed the wheel chair racers (and I highly respect these guys and gals). But what's the point when the course is so downhill? I know the first 10 miles are downhill. They just showed them going 40mph without even pushing. Maybe the rest of the course will have some work to it.

Some people dont get it, global warming is bad and we need to fight it. Yet some people are raising money for it.
Kinda like all those jerks raising money for cancer.
