DII Indoor Track

Martinez has been running, just unattached....running real fast though

Does he not have any eligibility left? I saw that he ran a 4:01 but he was unattached.

She's good, but not national title good. I don't think she has the footspeed. V. Lee from pitt (2:09 Arkansas) on the other hand is dangerous..will probably win the MIAA if she runs the mile.

On the men's side, who knows, it think it's kind of wideopen. The MIAA race has three guys that have made provisional (Wellman, Akers, and Sanderson)-so that should be fun to watch at MIAA's. Sanderson finished 4th indoor at nats one year and Wellman has qualified before and is very talented. And there are 3-4 more guys that are right there too. It should be fun and intense, considering how down the MIAA was last year in the mile depth wise. I don't know if any of those guys have a shot to win nats, but they could be in the mix for top six finishes.

What about this Seattle Pacific girlm Jessica Pixler...I saw she was in the results for the open race at USA XC Nationals this past weekend???

The updated lists are up, looks like a whole bunch of teams jumped on the DMR list this weekend.

Looks like a lot of Adams guys at the top this year.

800--Lara (ASC) Twice the defending champ and the fastest time in the nation...nuff said

1500--Braun (ASC) Has run 4:05 twice this year already plus an AA from last year shows he's good when it counts. However, if Nicodimus wins, it's not really an upset.

5000--Nidodimus (ACU) Do we really need to discuss this. Clearly the best in D2 right now.

DMR--Adams-- Lara leading off, Braun anchoring plus a 1:52 guy in Streeter seems like a little too much for everyone else to handle.

Shes solid. She loves competition. I would expect her to step it up at nationals.

If you watch it, make sure to note her form. And I wouldn't be surprised if she led it.

They could also have a shot in the DMR.

I heard from the grapevine that Nico will be trying to triple at nationals. I say that if he does this then he could very easily lose the 5k. It is to much racing in to short of a time with a decent number of guys closing the gap on him as of late. Nico in my opinion does not look as good as he did when he first got to ACU

Agreed. Scotty Bauhs is clearly the best runner in D2 right now. Outdoor should be interesting.

Here's a question, who was the last American to go sub 14 in D2? Eberly?

800- Lara

1500- Gill

5000- Nicodemus

DMR- Adams State

I wonder what Scotty can do after he does some track workouts. I hear he only stepped on the track a couple times and is still building base. And the 5 isn't even his best event, it would probably be the 10 (sub 30 last year). Low 28's in the near future.

Nico tripled last year.

Results:

Mile = 2nd

5k = 1st

DMR = 2nd

I'm not sure if Cele is a citizen or not, but I would say it is either him or Hubbard.

bauhs from chico ran a fast 5k at the huskie invite, 13:49 nico was like 14:00.... so he is no shoe in for victory, tho i still would put my money on him....if the ncaa allowed athletes to bet....
