Starting to run after about a year off due to injury. Very nervous about starting again because I don’t want any setbacks. Is it to aggressive to try to hit 55mpw after 13 weeks of running? I’ve been using the elliptical for the last month for about 30-60min a day. I have some aerobic base, but can’t push my leg too much. Here’s what I was thinking.
Weeks 1-2: 15miles
Weeks 3-5: 25miles
Weeks 6-8: 35miles
Weeks 9-11: 45miles
Weeks 12-13: 55miles
I should also add that I'm going to try to run only 6 days a week.
