I need some help. I've noticed that the more football players our team has on it the better we do, everytime no matter what.
So I'm planning on playing towards the football players with examples of this in posters and fliers around the school.
One idea I've thought of is simply half of page with Reggie Bush running the 200m (where he was an All-American) and the other half showing him playing for the Saints.
Any others? Thanks

True Stories: Deion Sanders played a college baseball game and ran in a track meet on the same day. He was part of an excellent 4x100.
Tim Dwight ran college track during the off season of the NFL(I think he had a season of eligibility)
I think it's a great idea. Unfortunately, in this day and age of specialization, too many kids are not being encouraged to try other sports. This is particularly true in the soccer world, where kids are told repeatedly that they need to play year-around so that they can get a scholarship, but there are plenty of football coaches who would rather see their kids playing spring ball rather than running track, even at the high school level.
I would imagine that many professional football players did track at some point. A smart football coach is going to realize the benefit of participating in track -- not only the physical benefits, but learning to compete in a different avenue will also help them as a football player.
