Naaah. People like horses. People like to breed and race horses. If you can fund it by getting people to bet on them--well, there are a lot worse places to put your money.

I agree commissioner. It pisses me off to no end that George Bush would act this way. Where is the outrage? Why isn't the president stepping in to offer his thoughts and concern? Why, because George Bush doesn't care. George Bush doesn't like horses. He wishes all horses would die!
