I don't get it.Honestly why did they have 2 rabbits in the women's Reebok 3000? I have my issues with 1 rabbit, and now 2. Please explain.

i don't think this is all that hard to figure out. the first rabbit goes for x meters and the second, who has been able to draft off the first and conserve energy, goes the next x meters.
Thank you... Then why not 2 for the 5000 following that logic?

Uh, Bannister had two in 1954.
could be a number of reasons. money. maybe dibaba didn't want one. also possible that they had another one lined up but the rabbit backed out for some reason. tough to know for sure without being involved in the meet.

Try finding two rabits to go out in 840 for 3k lol...they were only able to get one girl and i think she only went 2k? Which by the way was the best pacing job done at the entire meet. Perfect splits.
Its very hard to get good rabits in world record attempts as the distance goes up...Bekele for example in the 5k goes out in 734 and 732 in another attempt...that kind of rabiting is hard to come by!
