What's this shoe all about?
I read the artical but don't follow the reasoning behind what looks to be essentially a high-heel shoe without the spike in the back. I suppose we can let all the [ironman] triathletes try them out first and read all the nasty reviews six months from now...sarcasm :)
Has anyone out there actually tested these things?

Gimmick - worse then worthless.
If you want to go the way of running 'naturally', then minimalism has a reasonable rationale - shoes with an '[angled chassis]' do not!
If the shoe is supposed to get you on your midfoot and toes, why the heck do you need that much heel? It looks like there is more heel than a traditional shoe. Wonder if they will be around in a few years...
The thick heel is there for when you end up having to stop and walk after your calves cramp or strain.
I feel sorry for whoever invested in nightmare of an idea.
