I train and run at a school at 4700 ft above sea level. I attended a meet yesterday and some good times were posted. My question is with the altidude adjustments / altitude equivelent to running at sea level. the NCAA has put out conversions for every outdoor and indoor facility above 3000 ft. My question is are altitude adjustments real? would the runner run the same at sealevel? how accurate are these adjustments?
Being up this high I think they are but I've never asked anyone on the subject and I'd like to hear others opinions. thanks
