what should be the rest if one is doing 20x200m at mile pace? 60 seconds? 45 seconds? I'll be taking walking/standing (not jogging) recoveries so keep that in mind.

Keep it aerobic by jogging 100 meters
30secs is enough to hold mile pace, finish walk back around and go, too easy with 45-60's. or try 2 x 5 x 400m with 1min rec and 3mins between the sets,
what mile pace? 8 minute mile 3:50 mile? 4:40 mile?
so if holding mile pace: 20x200m with 30 sec rec
If I'm feeling good, can I dip into 800 pace towards the end?
why are you only doing these at mile pace?
mile goal pace (4:50 for me)

Magic Eight Ball says: Prospects are favorable
with 60sec rec, can you do 20x200m at 800m pace

a much better workout is 15-20 x 200 @ 800meter race pace with 200 meter recovery jogs.
Or 15-20 x 200m with 4minutes recovery, to recover well after each one.
What do you want to get out of the workout?
why would you need full recovery after each one if theyre only at 800meter pace?
maybe if they we're sprints or at your 400meter race pace; and then there wouldnt be 20 of them. there would be like 10-12 x 200
i think he was making fun of you, 430
talk about his mom in retaliation
No not really i had some fun with yours last night thou. so do some repaeats and get back
Do one every 60 seconds, so if you run them in 40 you get 20 seconds rest, and do 10 more of them.
Yeah I think I decided to do 20x200m in between 800 and mile pace with 60 sec rec. Trying to hit 33-34's and drop it down to 30's on the last few.
