I hurt my leg doing the long jump 6 months ago. The pain was imediate and went from my knee to my ankle. I thought i broke my leg, but x-ray said-no. I have been to the doctor twice and he gave me some motrin and said its tendonites. Well i have not done any significant runnin due to fear of hurting myself worse. Just going up stairs yesterday a now have pain below knee on out side of rt leg and still have pain in calf muscle area. I am considering just running and seeing if these things work themselves out. I have a 2 miler in the beginging of April that I have to run at least a 13 and I am really out of shape and put on a lot of weight.
