What are the benefits of this?
What distances/times does it benefit?
How long should you take it before running? Also how much should you take?
Thanks

my friend used to drink one about one hour before each race and ran consistently under 16 for 3m.
7 of my friends didnt drink red bull and consitantly ran under 16 for 3mi
I've never drank a Red Bull in my life and consistently run over 3 hrs in the marathon.
won't help, training helps
I never drank Red Bull because I figure I'd never sleep again
I find it particularly tasty with Grey Goose.
I second that.
Don't drink it before races if you usually get fairly nervous. It makes you feel like crap, feels like you get worn out.
I usually drink 2 and 1/2 Red Bulls 10 minutes before my race. It seems like the more I drink, the better I run.
Drink it. Red Bull Gives You Wings. You will FLY!
Red Bull greatly improves your (insert sport here). And at $2.50 a can, it greatly increases our stockholders profits. Please, keep dringking Red Bull. Anecdotal research shows that consuming 2.5 cans of Red Bull 10 minutes before competition works best.
I am now going to go out on my Red Bull yatch. I named my yatch "Thanks dumb suckers who buy Red Bull because they think it improves performance". Thank you.
I named my Director of Marketing "Dumbass" on account of the fact that he couldn't spell YACHT. Nice try. Work on your literacy. I hear that Red Bull could help with that.
The Mexicans on our jobsite seem to prefer "Rockstar". Those guys never seem to get tired or sick.
i drink one sometimes in the afternoon if i'm exhausted before my evening run home from work. i found that it helps, or maybe it's just a placebo. the other night i drank it and felt amazing on my run. i would say anywhere from 30-60 minutes before and you should be good. just make sure you have something else other than red bull to drink(water). oh, and try sugar free, since it's 100 less calories and there is less of that crashing feeling, at least i've found.
Caffeine is shown to improve performance, but you could just drink coffee.
You can't chug a cup of coffee!
Believe it or not you don't have to drink it hot. It's a law just recently passed.
Rockstar juiced and Moster Khaos are great. They are both mixed with juice instead of soda. I wouldn't reccommend drinking right before a race/run, but if you give yourself some time, you'll be amped up for a 50+ minute run or 1.5 hr bike. After that, you're screwed.
