A lot of people say take your 5km time, double it and add a minute, so that is just about spot on with what Phil ran at Telford. I only ran 14.14 this summer but ran 29.40 at Manchester BMC on a crap night, if Phil has come on since the summer, and it certainly looks like it then he could easily be in that kind of shape. Nobody questioned some of the times that came out of the Great Run 10k and plenty of those guys had struggled to break 14.30 for 5k.
