Famous Athletes who ran track?

I should add that I am asking about athletes in sports other than track & field, who participated in track & field in high school. Could be events other than running events.

i.e...famous football players, basketball players, etc.

Kofi Annan does still have the 100-yard dash record at Macalester College in Minnesota ...the event became metric right after his undergaduate days ended.

George Patton was a modern pentathlete in the Olympics... one of the five events is running.

Not a pro athlete, but Johnny Mathis high jumped 6-8 at USF in the late 50s, but passed up the O.Trials when he signed his record contract.

Jimmy Carter ran xc at the Naval Academy. Joe Morris was a very good HS sprinter in Massachusetts. The list goes on and on and could spawn a spinoff site, LetsRunandplayfootball.com

Devin Hester ran track for Palm Beach Suncoast. He was a State Champion.
