I was finishing my second run of the day, hurrying up to make it home so my girlfriend and I could go out to dinner. In my hurry, and in a new pair of shoes, and with a coffee flavored goo in my system (2x caffeine fully kicked in), and trying to beat a biker up a hill, I passed two runners coming in the opposite direction.
One of them yelled "Slow down!"
What the hell is wrong with people? I wasn't running 60 second pace, I was running 5:30 mile pace. I don't find it ridiculous that someone would yell "slow down;" what I find ridiculous is that it was another runner (much more snazzily dressed than me) who said it. Sometimes I want to beat people up.
Thanks for reading my rant.
