Wade missed the Phoenix game tonight because he had recently gotten his wisdom teeth pulled. I think this is at least the 3rd big time NBA start to miss a game for that reason this season.
So, my question is, why aren't they taking care of this sort of non-emergency dental work during the off-season?
Regardless, they are pansies for sitting out anyway. Everyone knows Shorter raced a 5K against Pre right after getting his wisdom teeth pulled and nearly beat old Pre.

Everyone knows that playing in the NBA is much harder and more physically strenuous than running any distance. That is why the guy was able to run and Wade unable to play.

Every wisdom tooth removal is different. I can almost guarantee Shorter did not have impacted teeth and require to be put out for an hour while they are cut out of the gums.
That will knock anyone out for a couple days at least.
The NBA regular season is just a long exhibition season. Only the playoffs count.
