Im pacing two teammates this sunday for a sub 5 mile, they went 5:06 and 5:08 last weekend without pacing and they went 70,81,83,73 for the 5:06 guy and they 5:08 guy just went like 75 the last lap. I am pretty sure they could break 5 since they were running crazy times up and down. Should I just aim for all 75's
or go like 73,75,75 and than just let them go, Ill run enxt to them to push them the last 400 but does that sound good?bring them through at like 3:42-3:44, they have a pretty decent kick and they want it bad. I think this will be enough. They had a hard workout today that they looked good in and the 5:06 kid has only been running for like 3 weeks because he was injurred during xc. He rana 5:36 time trial the first week than a 5:06 last week and I am pretty sure he can go sub 5 now.
