I am no minimalist, but I have been training daily in the Asics Ohana - a shoe marketed as a racer (but a rather substantial one) and it is just amazing. It is holding up nicely after about 250 miles with no compression of the midsole even though I am an odd runner (I have farily high arches, but one foot pronates anyway because my right toes point outward). I have also done a few good workouts in it. It is a neutral shoe, but with a fairly straight last but a nice flat-like feel. Plenty cushioned without being mushy or having a really high heel. It uses the new Solyte material which kicks the crap out of SpEVA. Has anyone else had good results with this shoe? I have a pair of Nike Pegasus TC's and a pair of ASICS Speedstars (my previous favorite trainer) that are brand new and I still prefer to run in my worn Ohanas.
