are there any negative side effects to not wearing enough clothes and basically freezing while racing? I hate getting hot and would rather be a little chilled, unless it slows me down of course! thanks

we will need to see pics to give you the best possible answer to your question.
Look at what the girls who ran the USATF X-Country Championships were wearing last year.
go back to dyestat you troll.
I always try to keep my legs warm by wearing half tights if is under 60 or full tights if under 32, If I wear shorts My hamstrings and quads seem to stay tight throughout the race. I will wear gloves too it is around 40 degrees too. I almost never wear a hat because I will end up throwing it off anyway
Max King at VCP last year, did great wearing very little.
I ran from the west side of madisons campus, all the way up state street to the capital in nothing but a thong on halloween, did pretty well, i mean front page of two papers.
i've run in 26 degree weather in nothing but booty shorts for 60+ minutes. no harm done. i ran in like 17 degree weather in shorts, singlet, and gloves. i wear a bandaid on my johnson when it gets so cold my dick bleeds. running will keep you warm enough, you dont need clothes
I ran an event called the "Bare Buns Fun Run" here in Washington state. Even in the rain, clothing-free (ya know, nude) was plenty warm...no clothes holding in the moisture (or sweat on warm days) and weighing them down, etc. Chafing was a bit of a problem, though. ;)
