Like you, I shave too. A lot. But despite all of the above, the simple reason: personal preference.
Would Clint Eastwood ever shave his legs? Sean Connery? Lee Marvin? Jack Palance? Paul Newman?
Unless you are an elite swimmer or cyclist, don't even try to justify it. Runners have no business doing it. It looks gay. Plus, swimmers only do it before a major competition. It's not like they do it all they time because they like it.
And there is no evidence that shaved legs have less drag for runners. That is preposterous.
Every time I show up a local 5K and see some slow-ass male triathlete with shaved legs I want to puke. What a pussy.
