Don't be fooled. It wasn't long ago, he was finishing Peachtree in 34-35 minutes.

Saw Galloway during the Charleston Distance Run. He was the guest speaker and the race's first winner. When I passed him I asked him why so slow, and he said he was running it as a fun run with his wife who's goal was to finish.

I actually "ran" this with Galloway from mile 2 to the finish. He was the speaker at the pre-race dinner and ran it with his wife. They both ran-walked it and did it as a fun run.

Not taking up for him at all, it's just that the race may or may not be indicitive of the shape he's in. A very nice guy, by the way.

Very few on this board will ever have anywhere near the running career that Jeff Galloway had. In addition, most on this board will realize some day down the road that there is nothing wrong with having fun while jogging, walking and running.
