Mrs. Insignificant posted a 23-minute neg split, but I still can't imagine what it would be like to take 72 minutes to go the first 5K. -
Bobby Flay ran 4:08 in 2002.

how'bout Natalie Morales from the Today show?
-
Mike Huckabee - another chunky Arkansas govenor who thinks he can run. I hope he went to Scores and met w/ Billy boy after.

I rarely stoop to responding to irrelevant ramblings, but here goes: Do you know what the club "ATC" stands for? Figure it out, and then post an apology. Completely inappropriate use of the term "insignificant." You try completing a marathon without legs...

As Achilles Track Club Members I doubt they are Insignificant people at all. I kindda think they deserve a tip of the hat.
John Bingham I get the feeling you are a curl up and die kindda guy not a gutsy "Can do type" . I'd be proud to have MS Ward or Mr Robbins at my table---
you not so much. -
This kid used to deliver pizza from Mimis to the Ex-Mrs wineturtleII back in the day.
Nice to see him doing something useful these days. Ex-Mrs wineturtleII gleefully points out any time people mention him or his restaurants that he always managed to deliver the pie with the dreaded "Cheese Shift".
Hey Bobby- put yourself in the limelight-ya got to take the heat!! Let's see your bride out there next year. -
sorry forgot to quote in the above Mr Stephanie March comment.

So when is Howard Stern going to do this thing?
-
Magdalena Boulet of Oakland CA got a qualifier and ran well.
-
What about Mike Richter? I heard he was running but didn't see him in the results.
Adam Graves with a 4:27. With all due respect, not much of a runner, but a class act all the way. -

"Mr. Insignificant" is the title given to the last person taken in the NFL draft every year. The person isn't insignificant; they are simply overshadowed by everyone else in the draft, but they still made it into the NFL. That's how the term was meant in this post. I should have mentioned the NFL draft so the letsrun crowd who only reads the bottom corner of the last page of the sports section where the XC results are listed would realize this.
