They were talking about the girl's race...therefore its not a surprise that Michigan beat Wisconsin.
I would think that Wisconsin would have to run their A team to beat Minnesota. When they tied with Michigan, Michigan's 6 and 7 were right with 5 while Wisconsin's were well back.
Last year they peaked for Regionals and not Big Ten to get in to Nationals but this year their credentials are good enough that they should get in without pushing Regionals so hard.

Solinsky tripped and got 8th
Because of Solinsky's trip and 8th place finish, Michigan beats Wisco by 2 pts and takes home the Big Ten Title. They had five runners in the top ten!
