Shippensburg has a transfer that can compete with anybody in the conference at the top.
Can he compete with THE Alex Monroe?? And if he can then why the hell didnt he transfer to a D1 school. Whats his name?
who Nick Gibson? Nobody cares
Brayden Burleigh from VT is the transfer

Gibson can't compete in cross anyways ncaa transfer rules has to sit out a full year
Who does everyone have coming in for next year? What teams will make it to nats?
I would have to think that edinboro is going to have to be the favorite right now. The next teams will probably haven, ship, esu and rock all fighting for the last 2 national spots. With dinzeo getting an individual qualifier.
ESU won't be in it, they lost almost all of their guys
Hey all. I'd like to invite you to the 1st annual Running with Ryan 5k in Belle Vernon,Pa on Sunday, July 7th at 9am. This race is being held in memory of former PSAC runner Ryan Moravec who was killed in a wreck last year. Proceeds will go to his Alma Mater (Belle Vernon Area HS) where he also coached. This will be a fun event with many current and former PSAC runners in attendance. Registration forms and more information are available at http://www.runningwithryan.weebly.com Thanks and hope to see you there!
ESU lost 5 of top 7 from last year. How about WCU? Saw they had 3 qualifiers in outdoor 10K and a top 8 finisher in Steeple. Could they finally be top half of the conference?
Interesting, WCU is one of those that not many people think of when talking about these things. Good point there. This year, besides Boro and Lock Haven, that third spot seems wide open at this point, maybe showing a little favoritism towards Slippery Rock. It opens the door for the underdog teams like WCU, Cal, and Mansfield. This will be a fun year to see how things unfold.

Have heard that some of the PSAC athletes went up to altitude this summer. Think its good and can help them on the national stage?
So any freshman that can possibly make an impact in the conference this year?
I think this is the most boring this thread has ever been during a summer.
Why do you think they are going to peak early? If they do it right and dont over train they might be able to do some real damage during the season.
If they believe that the altitude training will benefit them it will just as any individual will benefit from a training plan at sea level if they trust and believe that it was the right thing for them to do. Altitude is not the secret to running fast. Hard, quality, intelligent work and believing in the coach who prescribed the load is the key to distance running excellence. If you think you will be fast just from going to altitude you are SOL. But if you trained intelligent you should be more confident than in years past and when it comes to November 23rd in Spokane the window of opportunity for success will be much greater. Nothing will come easy on race day but you will be able to work harder and at a different level.

the truth
People come down off of altitude training for hard sessions and when they're ready to race. These guys will come down, then resume training. It will be three months before nationals if they come down in August. They'll feel like gods the first few weeks, peak a few weeks into the season, then feel like crap the rest of the year. Ask any other PSAC runner who has tried it.
So just over a month out from the beginning of the xc season lets hear so real predictions team wise and individual wise. Are there any darkhorses or surprise teams that could make nats or a huge improvement in the PSAC?
