How can someone run around a track for 24 hrs. I think my sanity would explode.
I think the WR is about ~75 Km (~45 miles)longer than that. I DK/NS but 300+km for 24 hrs sticks in my mind.
Couple/three years ago 80 plus year old Ted Corbitt scored about 70 miles in a 24 hour race here in Astoria NYC.
I'm sure someone won the thing but Ted's run was the only thing that I recall.Great book if this Ultra stuff interests you.
