I have always wondered is any research out that states how much improvement occurs when you step up mileage? I know that Vo2 is not improved after around 75 miles per week. But economy is improved. So what kind of benefits are happening at different mileage levels?
Like say a guy runs 5k in 16:00 at 50mpw. Then 15:20 at 75 mpw. Then 14:58 at 100mpw. Is that a realistic perception?
