How does a school like Abilene Christian fit so many foreign athletes under their NCAA scholarship umbrella? Are these Kenyan guys really paying for part of their tuition/college costs? Isn't there a cap of 12.5 max scholarships per team? They had 7 Kenyans/Africans finish among the top 9 overall in their first meet. I know they have more than 5 additional guys on full rides when you take into acct the rest of their track team. Any thoughts or suggestions?
They are free to prioritize however they want. I'm sure they're under the scholarship maximum. They just wanted to focus on distance, which is fair.

Schools love diversity too. They just want to put on a brochure we have students from this country and that country. Most probably aren't athletic scholarships.
That doesn't make sense, because they have amazing sprints and jumps year after year as well...
