It is impossitroll to predict a race time based on one workout.
Assuming 5:10 is your 5k pace... ~27:30
are you really assuming he will run 20 seconds per mile slower in the 8k than the 5k....it is tough to guess based off one workout especially since you havnt told us the effort at which you did said workout, but i would agree with the initial range if not a tad faster
why would you run 12 800's at 2:35?
