I think your mile time stands out, amongst those posted. But at 23 with quality marks across the board, I'd say it's your call where to put your efforts.
do hanson for a year or two see how much you improve. Right now your right on the brink of getting a pro contract. IMO

Seems more of a miler to me, I am not sure if Hanson is the way to go.
I think you deserve sponsorship. Your mile, then you 5K look good. The 1:48/28:57 show some range.

I'd go to Warhurst in Ann Arbor. You'll know then if you have it.
i'd say you've got a shot at going pro as long as your sure you can keep improving. shoot. i wanna eventually go pro and i don't yet have times anywhere near what you got.

New club forming out of NYC look for anouncements this coming week, it might be a fit if you want to run cross, roads and track.
Who are you? I'm calling b.s. on those times.
Somebody with those times would not be asking this question, because they would already have the answer.....and they wouldn't be asking on this board.
I'd have call bs too...if you had that kind of range, I don't think you'd be asking letsrunners if you could go pro. Pro contracts are easier to come by then some people think, and those those would be some legit times out of college.
team usa minnesota. most of their guys came in like that and improved.

i'm sorry, but i think the answer is no. i mean, you could earn some money here and there, so you'd technically be a pro, but unless things have changed significantly more than i think they have in the last ten years, i don't think shoe companies will give a contract for those times.
as a point of reference, i had friends who ran those times around 2000 and none of them received a dime from a shoe company. i personally ran 2 seconds faster in the 800 and didn't receive any interest at all. i know times have changed and there is generally more money out there, yet i just don't think those times are fast enough to get a salary from anyone.
sorry. and if i'm wrong, good for you.
If it is true that those times aren't good enough for a Pro running contract, I would buy a bike and become a Triathlete or Duathlete. Surely you'd be good enough at that.

Unless you arent awerican you're also a liar, only one American fits even your mile time in the last 5 years. Mike Miller and you aren't him obviosly. Said ahmed next closest to a 357.1 but again obiosly you arent him. Are you Canadian? European? Or just a troll....or can you not remember your real times.
I think you may have a shot to run part time with those pr's but i dont think youll be able to make a living off of it. Nikes not going to be knocking down the door.

Mike Miller has not run 10,000m
Does anyone go beyond the traditional sponsors and go talk to some large company to sponsor them? Why don't we ever see someone with "Pontiac" or something on their singlet?

I know. I didn't mention anthing about the 10k. All i said was miller is the only American who has ran 357.1 in the last 5 years, and that its obvious he is not Miller. Miller was the ONLY American who fit that ONE condition but failed on all the times and age (32), elimating all Americans....hence the obvious its not him.
It's probably a theoretical question.
