I was wondering if anyone resoles their own shoes? I want to resole some old racing flats and H streets and was wondering where I could get the rubber, glue, etc., and some instructions to do this?

I tear the soles off my shoes when I buy them and run on the midsoles only.
It is a natural feel. I also wear burlap shorts 3 nights a week.
I find a tire on the side of the road and gorilla glue the treads to my shoes. It builds up my quads. Friends say "look at Quadzilla"
Buy some new shoes you cheap bastard.
Ever consider that he might be doing it for other reasons than being cheap ... like not being wasteful
If there were more cheap bastards like that around, the world would be in better condition

Ya, thats a good investment and worth your money. Why don't you just buy the aqua sock, or just realize your talent isn't that good and run in regular shoes.
Bump
The stupidity on this boards continues to be astounding. I hope you are a troll, if not, you are a complete moron for even asking this question.

But our economy would suck.
You can get Barge contact cement and climbing shoe rubber at REI or similar stores. I don't know about your race flats and H streets, but the ousoles of climbing shoes can be removed with a heat gun. If that doesn't work, maybe you can use a well sharpened fillet knife or something. Then trim the rubber to size and cement it on.
However, I'm not sure how the uppers on your old shoes are in salvagable condition. The uppers in my shoes always go well before the outsoles.
To Amazed:
I am not a troll. I put my email down so that way people would take me seriously. I don't believe this is a stupid question to ask. I have my reasons for resoling my shoes, but I did not post on here to discuss them. I had read on this board about people who convert track spikes into training shoes by resoling the spikes on their own. However, the discussion never really explained how they were able to do this.
I really do not appreciate you anonomously calling me a moron. Perhaps you can send me an email and we can discuss that matter, but I'm guessing that you won't so I won't worry about it.
To zzzz,
Thanks for your suggesstion. From some internet research, it sounds like it might be my best bet.
If you want to come over to my house I will show you how I put waffle soles on the American Eagle. You have to shower with me after to get the glue off.
