Every Black Male Born After 1975 has had an equal opertunity be sucessful in this country. EVERY RACE and COLOR and \ETHNICITY has gone through troubles in the country. Soh...I am sure you are in your 20s and have never really felt real racism and defend something you really have no knowledge about. Be proud of who you are but be open minded to racism commited by everybody...including blacks.

FYI AIDS was brought to the U.S. by a white man. And the "slaves" you mentioned, they must have known back in 1500 that if they don't leave Africa now, .n they will be invested with AIDS in 500 years. Yes ignorance rears it ugly head once again. Not quite sure what exactly started this BET bashing. But I think its all about your point of view. BET is/was a business venture designed to make money. A couple of guys got together and figured out they could create a network that catered to the interest of a certain community (black people). It was a good idea its been around for over 20 years and it made those guys a lot of money. WET may be a good idea. Go for it. Get a business plan together. But why create WET? Is it just for spite or because it could be a viable business. If its for the later then thats already been done. NBC, ABC, CBS, all have programing geared to a predominately "white" audience. But it you create WET for spite then we truly have not come as far as you would like to believe.

Interesting fact I did not know. These guys were even smarter than I thought. They created a network with black programing and ended up with 83% of their viewer being white. Talk about identifying a niche market. So why would they not be bias towards the black athlete. Obviously the majority white audience tunes in because the enjoy "Mad Sports" and other black dominated programming.

Don't forget tanning booths, FUBU ( who's main money sourse is white males ages 11-20)colligen in the lips, dancing,and music... the list is endless.

For a race of people so hated by a country, why is everyone trying to look like them. Ill bet you didn't even know rap music is listened more by whites than any other culture. Next time you are driving around in your BMW, put your window and listen to what the white youths of this country are listening and singing to while they drive. Just think how boring this country would be with out people of color.
