4:00 AM - for longer runs over 10 miles on the weekdays (I have to be at work at 7), and Sunday long runs.
5:00 AM - for runs under 10 miles on weekdays.
6:00 AM - Forget it, it's way to freaking hot.

do one longer run a day... problem solved.
My "morning" runs typically occur sometime before 2 pm, give or take (the first run of the day gets called "AM" regardless of its actual start time).
No way I'm getting up early to run. I'm NOT a morning person.
I run at night.
The morning is busy where I live. At 4am there are only 4 types of cars on the road:
1. drunks coming home from the bar.
2. Police cars (hopefully arresting drunks)
3. construction workers going to work.)
4. big rigs
At night there are less cars on the road and much fewer dog walkers.
Try 2AM for the first workout and then 5:30 for the second. You can have 25 miles under your belt before noon!

I'm up at 7:00 everyday (weather's nice and I work at 10:00), even the weekends if I'm out late. It's nice here in the morning (usually 70 degrees) but the afternoon it has been the upper 90's and 100 so it benefits to get it done.
I wake up between 4:15 and 4:45 a.m. every day.
I bang out 8 or 10 miles for the a.m. session.
4:45 am - the only time its even close to bearable for a hard run. its still pretty humid though.
What time do the guys who wake up at 4am-5am go to bed at night? How much sleep do you get in an average day?
10ish so 7hrs
9 p.m. Nothing much to do after 9 p.m. anyway except the tube.
My kids now stay up later than me.

I live in Fort Worth and meet a group at 5:45 on weekends,,,it's pretty freakin humid. It's almost better when we finish 90 minutes to 2 hours later. It may be a little warmer but its less humid...either way its tough right now. I ran an easy 6 at 6 pm last night...first 2 miles I thought it was actually quite nice...the last 3 miles was honestly a death march...oh yeah, it was 103 at 6.
In Michigan, I arise anywhere from 4:15 to 5:15 am to get in anywhere from 5-16 miles, depending on the day and when I need to be at work.
I work 11-7. Run around 9am and 7pm...fun stuff running in the heat all the time.

i don't know how you guys do it. i feel like absolute crap in the mornings. my runs usally get going at about 10:30 to 11 pm, home by 12, shower up, watch a bit of tv have a cold beer or 2 and i'm in bed a1. still gives me 7 hrs sleep and it's much more leasant than getting up early and running.
I'm a morning person, usually up by 4:30 and out the door before 5 a.m. Run with a group on Sundays at 8 a.m. so "sleep in" until 5:30 or 6:00. I only average about 6 hours a night of sleep. Hate it that about once a week I wake up at 3:00 and can't get back to sleep.
Sorry to say it, but I am up at 3:55 am on the mornings I double up (3-4x/week). Out the door at four. At work by 6 am. No wonder I can't sleep in on weekends.
i normally make sure im up by about 7:00pm to run. morning runs suck.
Summer
AM run at 9:00 AM
PM run around 7:00 PM......I have been pushing it until 8:00 because it has been over 100
as soon as school starts (I am a teacher/coach)
AM run at 6:00 AM
PM run at 3:30 PM.....with my runners
I usally go to bed around 9:00 or 10:00 unless I am out late on the weekend!!
Usually run at 10am for my first run and 8-9pm for the second. If I do a triple or weights/corework, I do that around 4.
